Six out of 10 Filipinos believe PH headed in right direction

At least six out of 10 Filipinos believe that the country is moving in the right direction, according to a survey by OCTA Research.


In its December 2023 Tugon ng Masa survey, 64 percent said so while 21 percent think otherwise.


The highest response came from respondents in the National Capital Region (NCR) at 81 percent.


Other regions with high positive sentiment are the Bangsamoro region at 81 percent, Zamboanga Peninsula at 76 percent, and Central Visayas at 75 percent.


Only the Bicol Region, at 74 percent, and Davao Region at 58 percent said that the country is heading in the wrong direction.


Those under socioeconomic class ABC scored the highest in terms of saying that the country is in the right direction at 76 percent while those under socioeconomic class E scored the lowest at 38 percent.


The survey had 1,200 respondents and has a margin of error of plus or minus three percent.
