San Carlos City Vice Mayor Christopher Paul S. Carmona led the city officials in commemorating the 80th Araw ng Kagitingan or Day of Valor on April 9.
Carmona together with SP member Benito Gustilo Jr. and former SP Member Vicky Cabili together with the city department heads, members of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection(BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Boys and Girls Scouts of the Philippines, Department of Education(DepEd)-San Carlos, Veterans Club of San Carlos and the ROTC of Tañon College made a flower offering at the foot of the unknown soldier's statue at Rizal Square, public plaza.
Former Brgy. Capt. Armando "Yoyong" Laguda also joined said event which honors the courage and bravery of our fallen heroes during World War 2 particularly in the famous Bataan Death March.
