San Carlos City commemorates the 79th Day of Valor

San Carlos City commemorates the 79th Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor), April 9 at the Public Plaza.

The city pays tribute to the fallen heroes who fought in the world war II era by offering flowers to the unknown soldier statue led by Vice Mayor Christopher Paul S. Carmona and SP Member Lorna Hinolan together with representatives of various government offices.

Theme of said event is Kagitingan Gawin Gabay, Pandemya ay Mapagtagumpayan depicting the vigor, perseverance and diligence that can withstand any obstacle just like how the soldiers had fought during the war amidst loss and hardship.

Said event was prepared by the District III School Administrators.
